Life After People

I have to wonder about the sanity of a species that makes series about how the earth would be after man is gone. I mean it's no great loss after all.

What is interesting is that for all that man has accomplished in recent years, that all that will be left is the monuments of old. The junk man finds so interesting now will leave no traces after he is gone,...the I-pods the internet, etc.....It will be just a pile of plastic in a heap somewhere.
